Introduction
BigMIND offers comprehensive audit capabilities, allowing the account administrator to track and review actions taken within the system or on devices where the BigMIND application is installed. This feature helps ensure transparency and accountability by keeping detailed records of various activities.
Detailed Actions Logged by BigMIND
BigMIND logs a wide range of actions, including:
- Adding, suspending, deleting, or activating a user, computer, or server.
- Any user searching for, opening, or downloading a file.
- Uploading, renaming, or deleting files on a machine where BigMIND application is installed.
Using the Audit Option
To make use of BigMIND’s audit features, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your BigMIND web console as an administrator.
- Select the Audit option from the left-side menu. This will open the Audit page.
Navigating the Audit Viewer Page
In the Audit page, you can specify the details of the actions you need to review:
– Fill in the search fields to narrow down your query.
– Click the Search button to retrieve the relevant records.
The Audit Types
BigMIND offers two types of audits: Basic and Lifetime.
Basic Audit: This allows you to review actions taken on the system or machines where the BigMIND application is installed, limited to the past 30 days.
Lifetime Audit: This provides a comprehensive review of all actions taken on the system or machines where the BigMIND application has been installed since the day you started using the BigMIND service.
