Although the default maximum backup frequency is once a week, users can configure it to run monthly using the Windows Task Scheduler.

How to Configure BigMIND to run Scheduled Backups Once a Month

  1. Follow the steps here to schedule the backup using the On Schedule option.
  2. Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
  3. In the Run dialog, type taskschd.msc and press Enter. The Task Scheduler window will open.
  4. From the left-side panel of the Windows Task Scheduler, click Task Scheduler Library.
  5. Double-click the BigMIND Start Backup task to open its properties window.
  6. From the Triggers tab, select the trigger that appears there and click on the Edit button.
  7. From the window that will appear, select Monthly and from the Months drop-down menu select all the months and from the Days menu, select the day that you want the backup to run at.
  8. Save the changes.
