BigMIND offers a robust reporting system that equips account administrators with essential reports to monitor backup activities effectively. The main reports include:

How to Configure Report Settings

  1. Log in to your BigMIND web console as an administrator.
  2. From the left-side menu, click Reports.
  3. In the opened Reports & Statistics page, click the Report Settings button.
  4. The Report Settings page allows you to schedule the delivery of four different email reports to track backup and restoration activities:
    • Activity Reports Settings
    • Alert Reports Settings
    • Large Restore Alert
    • Backup Alert Emails

Smart Reports

Smart Reports provide detailed information on all devices backed up under your account, including:

  • The name of the device.
  • The name of the BigMIND user who added this device.
  • The type of device (Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS).
  • Information about the version of the BigMIND application installed on the device.
  • The date of the last backup made from the device.
  • The status of the device, indicating whether the BigMIND application installed on it is online or offline.
  • Cloud storage usage of the device (Hot, Cold, and OCR).

Administrators can perform the following actions on the Smart Report:

  • Schedule Report: Set schedule settings to automatically receive the Smart Report by email. Administrators can edit or delete a scheduled Smart Report at any time by clicking the Report Manager button.
  • Export to CSV: Export the displayed Smart Report to a CSV file.
  • Archive Device: Archive the backup of a specific device directly from the Smart Report.
  • Delete Device: Delete the backup of a specific device directly from the Smart Report.
  • Start Backup: Force a backup to start on the desired device. The Device Status must be Online for this action to take effect.

Billing

This report includes details about the payments made for this BigMIND account, including:

  • The purchased item
  • The purchase date
  • The paid amount
  • The payment reference number

Administrators can perform the following actions on the Billing report:

  • Update billing information
  • Search for certain order
  • Export billing details to CSV or PDF

Alerts

This report displays major issues happening in the system, including:

  • Running out of cloud storage (Hot, Cold, and OCR).
  • Devices on which the BigMIND application has not performed backup activities for more than 45 days.

Client Locator

This Report is exclusively accessible within the Business edition of BigMIND.

This report displays the location of each backed-up device on a world map. Administrators can filter the results based on the device’s status (active, archived, or suspended).

Bandwidth Usage

This report displays data usage in both backup and restore activities.

Deployment

This Report is exclusively accessible within the Business edition of BigMIND.

This report provides details about errors that occur during the deployment of BigMIND through Active Directory.

Activity Stream

This report displays the backup and restore history for all users. It includes the following key details:

  • The start time of each backup on every device.
  • When the backup was paused and resumed on each device.
  • The completion time of each backup on every device, along with the amount of data backed up during each run.

Devices Build Info

This report shows the version (build number) of the BigMIND application on each backed-up device, enabling the account administrator to ensure the application is up-to-date on all devices.

Failed Backed Up Files

Under this report, the administrator will find a list of files that failed to be backed up. (Learn more)
